婦人問：「莫非這就是基督嗎？」（約 4:29）耶穌親口承認：祂就係默西亞——完全知道你一生嘅事，卻冇走開，仲要俾你「活水」。She asked, "Could this be the Messiah?" (John 4:29). Jesus says plainly: He is the Christ — He knows your whole life and, instead of leaving, gives you living water.

- 經文說的：當時「約有午正」（第六時辰）。婦女通常一早涼快時一齊去打水；一個人喺正午嚟，通常代表佢想避開人。而且佢係撒瑪利亞人、又係女人——猶太人同撒瑪利亞人唔來往，一位夫子公開同陌生女人講嘢，已經打破規矩；耶穌仲要主動向佢討水飲。
- The text says: it was "about noon" (the sixth hour). Women usually drew water together in the cool morning; coming alone at midday usually meant avoiding people. She was a Samaritan and a woman — Jews didn’t associate with Samaritans, and a rabbi speaking openly with a lone woman broke the rules; yet Jesus asks her for a drink first.
